DAYTONA 600
The
Daytona name is the stuff of legends for Triumph and not used lightly. The
subtle, discreet logo on the Daytona 600īs purposeful bodywork reinforces just
what this bike is about - power, poise and complete control. And, understanding
the need for individuality, it is also a motorcycle that looks truly unique
among the rest of the supersports contenders.
The heart and lungs of any
motorcycle is its engine and the Daytona's 599cc, liquid-cooled, four-cylinder
motor pumps out plenty of usable power. Utilizing twin-butterfly, EFI throttle
bodies and a 32-bit processor the throttle response is razor sharp and precise
while the smooth and predictable power deliver lets the rider make the most of
the amazing chassis.
The aluminum twin spar frame uses
a three-cell construction and is both incredibly light and strong. The steering
geometry and stock suspension set-up ensure superb handling straight from the
crate, although both front and rear suspension units are fully adjustable,
allowing the rider to tailor the Daytona 600 to suit his or her own riding
style. Available in three stunningly simple paint schemes - Racing Yellow, Aluminum
Silver or Tornado Red - the Daytona 600 comes with a color-matched rear hugger
and interchangeable pillion seat and seat cowl unit.
Our commitment to producing a
fully-focused sports motorcycle for the real world paid off at the 2003 Isle of
Man TT. This famous 37.73 mile circuit remains to this day the ultimate test of
a motorcycle's power, handing and reliability - not to mention rider skill. At
our very first attempt for 28 years, the 2003 Junior TT was won by Kiwi Bruce
Anstey on the factory-backed Triumph ValMoto Daytona 600. Emphatic proof that
there is now a another choice for any motorcyclist considering a sports 600.
